This book is beautifully written and so very encouraging. As one who grew up in an ungodly home, and being a first generation Christian, I believe this book is giving me a lot of invaluable tools I need to raise my children in a godly way. The significance and power of the spoken blessing has particularly hit home with me and I am actively working to speak out loud blessings over my children both in prayer and to them directly. There is an emphasis on homeschooling in this book, or having children attend a Christian school, which is wonderful for the authors as they feel so strongly about it. I believe this is something that every parent should take before the Lord in prayer and find the very specific plan of God for each child, each year. Not every parent has the ability to homeschool or send their children to private school. I love this book. I am so thankful for this woman's heart for God and she provides so much wisdom and encouragement! I would recommend this to every Jesus loving parent.Product details

This book gets right to the heart of parenting, with practical examples and much-needed encouragung illustrations and proofs from their own lives with their children. Results speak loudly. Their children have burning hearts. I loved reading excerpts actually written by her family concerning the principles she is teaching.
I found I really needed this book. It reinforced some of the things we knew we were doing right, but received criticism for. It also taught us many new things and reminded us of some things we knew we needed to be doing but have not been. And of course, I learned new things I cannot wait to implement.
I know this is a vague review. But, in short, I consider this book the second most important book of reference for parenting in our lives now (the first being the Bible). Cliche? Maybe, but I mean it.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to have their children grow to be fiery passionate lovers of Jesus.
Yes God wants us to be happy but laughing for hours for no reason is just plan weird.
